Mark Schroeder, Vice President for Public Relations, explained the new club blog for posting club news, awards and minutes. Elena Korotkina, Dallas Singles Toastmasters Member, hosts our website for free.

The Young Active Professionals club has a link from our website to their website. We also have a link to their website from our website.
The Humorous Speech and Table Topic contest are scheduled for August 16th. The Humorous speech is supposed to be from five to seven minutes. The Table Topics are one to two minutes. Each contestant will have the same question.
A backward meeting is scheduled for September 13th.
The Area 33 contest is scheduled for August 25th.
The District 50 Officer Luau is scheduled August 4th from 5:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m. at Hillcrest Bible Church.
Awards
The Best Speaker was Wahid Manawi. Sonya Jackson was the Best Evaluator. Heather Hartman won the Best Table Topic. Susie Campbell won the best of the Big Three. Wahid Manawi received the Icebreaker award since he delivered his icebreaker speech. Susan Zan, Anne Markwell, and Kelly Hickey got the first timer ribbon for first time guests.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:11 p. m.
