2007 Fall Contest Results

Sonya Jackson took second place in the Table Topics Area contest on August 25th. Lee King, one of our newest members, took second place in the Humorous Speech contest. I've talked/emailed with both contestants, and they both greatly enjoyed the experience.

I also heard it said that Lee must have worked tirelessly on his speech between Thursday night and the contest. His presentation of "Therapy Days" was tremendously improved even over the presentations he did for our club. There's no doubt that he benefitted from the feedback he received on each of his presentations. We have to give it to Lee, though, for making the most of it and being able to put it all together between Thursday night and Saturday!

Thanks to both of you for competing and setting such stellar examples for our club! We're proud of you both!
